What is the 350 Alpha Strike Tournament format?

It is a core set of rules to be used in casual pick up games or in a tournament setting, where winning objectives overrule the simple destruction of the opponents' units.

What are 350 point armies?

This represents the total forces you have brought to compete in the various scenarios listed inside this packet. This list should include a variety of Infantry, Battle Armor, Vehicles, and BattleMechs. Each scenario could require additional combined arms support or has certain strategic advantages to taking and using combined arms.

250 vs 350?

Each player brings 350 points worth of units that make up their list. Each scenario has a 250 point value maximum. Players must choose 250 points out of the 350 points they brought to the tournament to successfully achieve the objectives for each of the 8 scenarios. This is where bringing a well rounded 350 point army that can handle multiple roles is good practice.

Tournament Play Information:

1.) This Alpha Strike 350 tournament will be using the Casual Format from the tournament packet. This means painted units are not required but highly encouraged. Proxies should be of the same type (mech, combat vehicle, or battle armor), similar size, and shape (T.O./judge discretion).

2.) First-round pairings will be random and the following rounds will be determined using Swiss Pairing.

3.) This tournament will be limited to Clan Invasion era. Please follow the list building section in the tournament packet for force construction. Feel free to contact me using the information above for questions or assistance with list building, I will be more than happy to help!

4.) Players must submit their valid AS350 lists via email by Wednesday, April 9th 2025 to demoagentzathul@gmail.com.

5.) Doors open at 11 AM, play starts no later than 11:30 AM.

Materials Required:

1.) 350 point list complete with Alpha Strike cards. (2 copies, one for personal use, one to exchange with your opponent. A dry erase sleeve for your personal list helps for reuse!)

2.) All the models that are indicated on your 350 point list.

3.) 6 sided dice for TMM indication (AS:CE page 37, recommended: Red/Yellow/Black/White)

4.) Enough identifiable pairs of D6 to roll 2d6 for the highest possible damage of any unit in the list.

5.) 20 sided dice for height indication for any VTOL units.

6.) Tape measure

7.) Pen/pencil/marker for record keeping

8.) Good attitude
